Learning in the Library
Hi! I am an academic librarian, former writing and communication center director, and aspiring instructional designer who has worked in higher education and libraries since 2003. I create educational programs, training, curricula, lesson plans, and supporting assets to support learners in developing strong writing, communication, and information literacy skills. I believe teaching and learning are most effective when learner-centered and contextual, regardless of delivery format. To this end, I strive to create instructional resources and experiences that encourage inquiry, facilitate exploration and discovery, and provide support for meaning-making. It is my goal that learners develop a sense of autonomy and accomplishment as a result of any instructional interaction.
